Laws Schmlaws
So in Britian, it is apparently quite against the law the disturb a pack of eggs, cause a nuclear explosion, or sell an animal that was killed on a Sunday. In that same order, “What?”, “No Fucking Kidding.”, and “Prove I Did It!”.
I’m not the only one that thinks these are ridiculous. Liberal Democrat MP Chris Hunhe padded his resume as the ‘Smartest Man in Britian’, when he cited these examples as he condemned ministers for introducing ridiculous laws. The day after Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s government laid out it’s legislative agenda for the coming year, he noted the stream of sometimes “completely bizarre” new offenses it had created.
Fun Fact: Since the Labour Party took power in ‘97, under Prime Minister Tony Blair, it has created 3,600 new criminal offenses.
In what was probably the most logical thing scheduled to be uttered in the UK this week, Huhne said, “The idea that anyone might cause a nuclear explosion without killing anybody, and therefore being subject to a possible charge of murder, is extremely farfetched.”, telling this to Parliament.
Other new offenses include ‘wilfully pretending to be a barrister’, ‘disturbing a pack of eggs when instructed not to by an authorized officer’, and ‘offering for sale a game bird killed on a Sunday or Christmas day’, Huhne also lamented to them, as he accused the Government of doing nothing to repeal these outrageous laws.
Justice Minister Jack Straw, however, proved he /may/ not need to see the Wizard for a new brain, when he asked for a full list of the laws that the MP wanted removed from the statute books, so that he could review them.

Blogger’s Comment: “I often wonder if I am a shallow person or not. To this point, I have never found any sort of conclusive evidence for one side or the other. Until now. I feel a deep hurt over the illness of this woman. She who has brought me so many erections, accidental or on purpose. I do not feel this way when those in my family die. I am a very shallow person. Oh well. It must be how I blend in so well.”
